Practical Training

The training day starts at 09:00 and finishes at 16:30 with a maximum of three students to one instructor-trainee ratio. This will enable the instructor with enough time to properly instruct operators on different types of lifts and to instruct students on the theory.

The ALLMI Operator course consists of 15 modules, The course culminates in a written and practical examination. ALLMI is notified (by our team) of all courses in advance of the training taking place. The assessment process is set by ALLMI and administered by our instructor. It consists of two theoretical assessments and one practical. The theoretical assessments consist of a set of multiple choice and ‘open’ questions, as well as questions which relate specifically to the crane attachment being used. The practical assessment is designed to identify whether the candidate has the appropriate practical skills to operate a lorry loader safely and efficiently.

Who is it for?
