Clive 55, a fifth degree black belt in Jujitsu, is offering martial arts classes with his driving lessons to enhance stimulation of the mind, focus and self-control of the driver. All of which Clive says are,” extremely beneficial skills to have to ensure safe driving.”
An instructor with RED Driving School for the past 12 months, Clive has travelled the world with Jujitsu, obtaining gold medal (team) and individual bronze in the 1998 World Championships Master & Team divisions in America and Silver and Gold in 1982 in Malta. As well as holding the position of Senior Referee for Great Britain for a number of years
He is offering all pupils who wish to take up the free martial arts lessons a complimentary 15 minute session ahead of their first lesson.
Clive, who set up a Jujitsu club called Ippon -Jutsu -Ryu in Brighouse over 25 years ago before moving the club to Roberttown where his trusted Belt Belts still run today
He holds level one and two coaching qualifications and has been successful in mentoring students from all over the world to compete at championship level.
Clive says, “I’m passionate about providing all my students with the skills they need to achieve their goals, if by combing my two world can help my pupils become better drivers in the long term then I’m only too happy to help – even if it may seem likely a quirk method to some people!”
