RED Driving School appointed MOD Approved Training Provider
RED Driving School is proud to announce its appointment as Approved Provider of Driving Instructor training to the Ministry of Defence’s Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELCAS) – an initiative which promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces.
This new appointment provides a great option for those with a desire to learn new skills through RED Driving School’s training courses. All those who qualify with RED are automatically offered a position as a RED Franchised Driving Instructor and benefit from all the support necessary to develop a rewarding career.
“We are delighted with our selection on the ELCAS Approved Provider panel. Our training is probably the best available and we’ve already seen that ex-Service personnel enjoy a very high success rate with RED and go on to make great RED Driving Instructors,” comments Ian McIntosh, RED Driving School’s Chief Executive Officer.
An estimated 18,000 people leave the armed forces each year, many of whom have acquired credits, which can be used to fund up to 80% of the costs of re-training to become fully qualified Driving Instructors.
